- MPO 24F or MTP 24F  to LC fanout patch cord splits a high-density 24-fiber MPO or MTP connector into 12 duplex (or 24 simplex) LC connectors. It is commonly used in data centers to aggregate 10G LC-based servers and switches to 100G/400G MPO backbone trunk cables or transceivers. 

- It is primarily used in enterprise and data center environments to connect MPO-based switches and transceivers to legacy LC-based patch panels or networking hardware.

- Its key use cases:

+ Link Aggregation: Consolidates multiple legacy LC ports on servers or switches into a single, clean MPO / MTP connection in a distribution patch panel or fiber tray.

+ Transceiver Adaptation: Splits high-speed optical lines from MPO / MTP based blades or switches into individual duplex LC connections for standard SFP+ or SFP28 transceivers.

+ Network Migration: Retrofits older LC network racks to communicate with newer, high-density 40G, 100G, 200G or 400G MPO/ MTP based spine / leaf network architectures.

- A 24-Fiber (24F) micro cable is a high-density, small-form-factor fiber optic cable that consolidates 24 strands of fiber into a single, compact MPO or MTP connector. 

- This setup significantly reduces installation complexity, boosts data center port density, and supports high-speed parallel optics (e.g., 100G, 200G, 400G).

- The cables consist of  24 optical fibres (250µm  ) in a 3.0mm Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket with aramid strength members.

- These cables are primarily used for 40G/100G parallel optics and direct 800G/1.6T transceiver links.
