+ MPO-16 optical fiber coupler / MTP-16 fiber adapter is fiber optic adapter with ultra low loss of insertion loss that special designed for MPO-16 MTP-16 fiber optic connector.
+ The MPO-16 optical fiber coupler / MTP-16 fiber adapter use to connect the MPO/MTP female trunk cable and MPO/MTP male trunk cable or the MPO/MTP female trunk cable and MPO/MTP male module (MPO/MTP male to LC module) .
+ It is use for MPO-8 / MTP-8 connector or MPO-16 / MTP-16 connector on 8F or 16F MPO MTP fiber optic trunk cable.
+ MPO optical adapter / MTP fiber optic coupler have 2 type:
- Opposed type (Key Up to Key Down): use for standard Type A trunk cable.
- Aligned type (Key Up to Key Up): use for standard Type B trunk cable.
+ Same as common type of fiber optic adapter, the MPO-16 optical fiber coupler / MTP-16 fiber adapter normally use on the fiber optic patch panel, fiber optic module box, fiber optic terminal box that come with MPO/MTP trunk cable.
