    - An MPO-8 / MTP-8 fiber optic trunk cable is a high-density fiber optic cable pre-terminated with 8-fiber Multi-fiber Push-On (MPO) connectors, primarily used to support parallel optics applications like 40G, 100G, 400G, and 800G transmission speeds in data centers. 

    - MPO-8 / MTP-8 fiber optic trunk cables are natively optimized for 4-channel parallel optics transceivers, where 4 fibers are dedicated to transmitting (Tx) data and 4 fibers are dedicated to receiving (Rx) data.

    - Multimode OM3 MPO-8 / MTP-8 fiber optic trunk cable setups typically operate at an 850nm wavelength and are standard for short-reach (up to 100m–300m) rack-to-rack interconnectivity.

    + 40G: Pairs seamlessly with QSFP+ SR4 or QSFP+ CSR4 transceivers.
