MTP-16 MPO-16 OM4 Fiber Optic Break-out Patch Cable
Descriptions
+ MTP-16 MPO-16 Fiber Optic Connector accept to use 16-fibers of fiber optic cable to make the patch cable, and an other size terminal connector can use SC, FC, LC, ST, E2000, or others.
+ The main cable is usually 3.0mm LSZH Round cable, and breakout 2.0mm cable with length about 30cm.
+ MTP-16 MPO-16 Patch cable Standard type and Elite type both.
+ MPO-16 MTP-16 OM4 patch cable with Aqua Color and LSZH out-sheath, more friendly with environment.
+ It is Available in 16 cores (or 8 cores, 12cores, 24cores, 48core, etc).
+ MTP/MPO harness cables are designed for high density applications requiring high performance and speedy installation. Harness cables provide a transition from multi-fibers cables to individual fibers or duplex connectors.
+ Female and Male MPO/MTP Connector is available and Male type connector has pins.
Difference between OM3 and OM4 Fiber
+ Signal transfer distance:
- Distance 10G: OM3-300 reaches 300 meters; OM4 reaches up to 550 meters.
- Distance 40G/100G: OM3-300 reaches 100 meters; OM4 can support 150 meters.
+ Jacket Color/Identification: Both are typically aqua, but OM4 is sometimes designated with a violet (Violet) jacket to distinguish it from OM3.
+ Performance: OM4 is designed for higher bandwidth and lower attenuation, making it better for high-speed, long-distance data center connections.
+ Cost:
- OM3 Fiber: Cost-effective for standard, shorter 10G links within a single rack or room.
- OM4 Fiber: Recommended for high-density data centers, backbone cabling, or future-proofing for 40G/100G networks.
Advantages & Applications
Advantage:
+ Factory-pre-terminated and certified giving maximum optical performance.
+ Each cable is 100% tested for low insertion loss and back reflection before shipment.
+ Cables are ready for deployment on arrival.
+ Installed with protection & pulling sleeves for crush-resistance
+ Cable and patch cable factory directly export, save more production time and cost.
Application:
+ Data Center Interconnect
+ Head-end termination to a fiber "backbone"
+ Termination of fiber rack systems
+ Metro
+ High-Density Cross Connect
+ Telecommunication Networks
+ Broadband/CATV Networks/LAN/WAN
+ Test Labs
