Product Details

- The Outdoor Vertical Type Fiber Optic Splice Closure is used in aerial, wall-mounting applications, for the straight-through and branching splice of the fiber cable.

- The closure has four entrance ports on the end (three round ports and one oval port). The shell of the product is made from ABS.

- The shell and the base are sealed by pressing the silicone rubber with clamp allocated. The entry ports are sealed by heat-shrinkable tube.

- The closures can be opened again after be sealed, reused again without changing the sealing material.

- Optical splitter closure provides space and protection for the fiber optic cable splicing and joint.
Fiber optic closure belongs to the accommodation of the optical fiber fusion splice section system. It is widely applied to the connection of the fiber play the roles in sealing, protection, installation of fiber connector head and storage.

Installation Steps:

√ Saw the entry ports as need.

√ Strip the cable as the requirement of installation, and put the heat-shrinkable tube on.

√ Penetrate the stripped cable to the bracket through the entry ports.,fix the strengthen wire of wire of the cable on the bracket by the screwdriver.

√ Fix the fibers on the entry part of the splice tray by nylon ties.

√ Put the optic fiber on the splice tray after splicing and make noting.

√ Put the dust cap of the splice tray on.

√ Sealing of the cable and the base: clean the entry ports and cable with 10cm long by scrubber.

√ Sand the cable and entry ports that need to heat-shrink by abrasive paper. Wipe the dust that be left after sanding away.

√ Bound and even the heat-shrink part with aluminum paper to avoid burn caused by high temperature of blast burner.

√ Put the heat-shrinkable tube on the entry ports, then, heating by blast burner and stop heating after it is tighten. Let it be cool naturally.

√ Usage of branch folk: when heating the oval entry port, folking the heat-shrinkable tube to separate the two cables and heating it follow the steps above.

√ Sealing: use clean scrubber to clean the base, the part to put silicone rubber ring and silicone rubber ring, then, put the silicone rubber ring on.

√ Put the barrel on the base.

√ Put on the clamp, run the ferris wheel to fix the base and barrel.
