• They come with your choice of simplex or duplex cable configuration and are made to conform to RoHS, IEC, Telcordia GR-326-CORE Standard.
• A fiber optic patch cord is a fiber optic cable capped at either end with connectors that allow it to be rapidly and conveniently connected to CATV, an optical switch or other telecommunication equipment. Its thick layer of protection is used to connect the optical transmitter, receiver, and the terminal box.
• This fiber optic patch cord is armored for maximum strength and durability without sacrificing flexibility or size.
• The armored fiber optic patch cord is crush and rodent resistant without being bulky, heavy or messy. This means that it can be used in hazardous areas where more rugged cable is required.
• Armored fiber optic patch cables are made with similar outer diameter to standard patch cables, making them both space saving and strong.
• The armored fiber optic patch cord uses flexible stainless steel tube inside the outer jacket as the armor to protect the fiber glass inside. It retains all the features of standard patch cord, but is much stronger. It will not get damaged even if stepped by an adult and they are rodent-resistant.

About fanout fiber optic patch cord/pigtail:
• Fiber optic fan-outs are designed for patch panels or cable ducts where space-saving is required.
• It is available in 4, 6, 8 and 12 fibers and more.
• The fan out part can be 900um, 2mm, 3mm.
• It can be used to terminate outside plant or riser ribbon cables and between trays within racks where their compact design minimizes cable density and storage requirements.
• Fanout assemblies may be ordered as assemblies (terminated on both ends)or as pigtails (terminated one end only). The patch panels have either array fusion splicing (between outside plant cables and bare ribbon pigtails) or array interconnections (MPO/MTP fan-out).
• For cables that run from patch panels to equipment or patch panels to patch panels,t he fan-out cords with either ribbon cables or distribution cables can save space for cable ducts. Distribution cables are more rugged than ribbon cables.
• Patch cords and Pigtails are available in SC, FC, ST, LC, MU, MT-RJ, E2000 etc types.
